Rethinking the way supervisors oversee and manage employees' time and attendance

As the founding designer at Celayix, I led the product redesign of their mobile and web apps from conception to launch and beyond. Working in an agile and collaborative environment, I had the fantastic opportunity to work across multiple teams and projects at different product design and development phases.

Being part of the development team, I worked extensively with the software manager, Product Manager, Business Analyst, front-end and back-end developers, and Quality Assurance Analysts. Since most of my teammates came from a computer-science and engineering background, I needed to advocate UX design methodologies and transfer UX knowledge to ensure our products were user-friendly and usable.

By asking questions, gathering and translating business requirements and user needs, and understanding the problem space, I turned broad and conceptual ideas into practical and valuable solutions for our customers.

Establish Celayix as a simple and sophisticated workforce management solution, beginning with the employee experience.

Transition Celayix from the practical but siloed feature modules built incrementally over the years towards an integrated platform that will be even more effective at reducing the stress and complexity of workforce management.
